PEEK insulated wire is a type of insulated wire with unique properties and special structure, consisting of a conductor, insulation layer, filling layer, wrapping layer, and sheath layer from inside to outside. The conductor material is generally silver-plated copper core, while the insulation and sheath layer materials are polyetheretherketone (PEEK).
PEEK insulated wire has good toughness and rigidity, excellent fatigue resistance, flame resistance, and radiation resistance, with good material stability at high temperatures. Due to these superior comprehensive properties, it is commonly used in military industry, petrochemical, metallurgical machinery, power plants, automotive, marine, rail transit, civil aviation, medical and other fields.
PEEK insulated wire can be used long-term below 250℃, with short-term usage temperatures reaching up to 260℃, maintaining stable performance even in extreme environments.
It has strong corrosion resistance to acids, bases, and nearly all organic solvents. Except for possible yellowing in concentrated sulfuric and nitric acids, PEEK insulated wire shows good stability with other solvents.
PEEK insulated wire has exceptional sliding and fretting wear performance, maintaining high wear resistance and low dynamic friction coefficient at 250℃, suitable for complex mechanical environments requiring high reliability.
PEEK insulated wire contains no halogens in its molecules. It does not produce acidic or toxic gases upon burning, fully complying with EU RoSH environmental requirements.
PEEK insulated wire has excellent flame retardant properties, producing almost no smoke when burning, effectively reducing the impact of smoke on visibility during a fire.
PEEK insulated wire maintains good electrical insulation under high temperature and high frequency conditions, with low dielectric loss, making it an ideal choice for high-performance wire materials.
As a high-strength wire, PEEK insulated wire offers excellent toughness, rigidity, and dimensional stability, with a low thermal expansion coefficient close to that of aluminum metal. Its high fatigue resistance and impact resistance rival alloy materials, suitable for various demanding conditions.
PEEK insulated wire boasts high radiation resistance, peel resistance, and creep resistance, minimizing the elution of gases and metal ions to meet the needs of precision and high-standard applications.
In high-temperature, high-pressure steam environments, PEEK insulated wire maintains its superior properties. Under 200℃ steam conditions, its tensile strength, mass, and appearance show no significant changes, enabling stable long-term work.
