What is 770G?


770G is a standard-flow PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) pure resin grade from Joinature. It can be processed into various profiles or parts such as PEEK rods, plates, sheets and tubes through injection molding and extrusion molding. ZYPEEK 770G features the following properties:

 Maintains Stability Under Harsh Operating Conditions

It exhibits exceptional resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, oils, hydrocarbons and various organic solvents. It is also highly stable in high-temperature high-pressure steam or hot water, resistant to corrosion and rust, reducing maintenance costs and failure risks. With a low coefficient of thermal expansion and extremely low water absorption, its dimensions change minimally with temperature and humidity. Therefore, it is widely used in components such as seals to ensure the tightness and reliability of chemical pipelines and valves. Its ability to withstand high doses of gamma and X-ray radiation makes it suitable for precision components and medical applications.

High Mechanical Strength, Fatigue and Wear Resistance for Longer Service Life

It features high tensile strength, flexural strength and creep resistance, which remain excellent even at elevated temperatures. It combines high rigidity with toughness, particularly outstanding fatigue resistance under alternating stress. Moreover, it has a low friction coefficient, self-lubricating capability and excellent wear resistance, significantly extending the service life of parts. For these reasons, 770G is commonly used in various gears, bearing bushings, stoppers and other components.

Low/High Temperature Resistance and Low Smoke Emission for Enhanced Safety

It operates continuously at -40~260°C and maintains good performance and dimensional stability at temperatures up to 300°C for short periods. It is self-extinguishing and achieves UL94 V-0 rating even without any flame retardants. Among plastics, PEEK exhibits low smoke emission properties. Therefore, 770G is also applied in downhole oil equipment, aerospace, electrical cables and other industries.

 Stable and Excellent Electrical Properties

It not only has a volume resistivity as high as 1.0×10¹⁶ Ω·cm (at 23°C) and a low and stable dielectric constant of 3.1 (at 23°C, 1KHz), but also maintains excellent insulating properties under harsh environments such as high temperature, high pressure and high humidity. 770G can be found in key components of complex cable power systems as well as in the three-electric systems of new energy vehicles.

What Are the Applications of 770G?

Second, PEEK gears operate with low noise, providing a quieter working environment. Meanwhile, their excellent wear resistance significantly extends service life. In addition, 770G gears maintain stable performance in high-temperature, high-dust or acidic environments with superior dimensional stability, not easily falling off due to thermal expansion. Finally, as a thermoplastic resin, PEEK gears are recyclable, aligning with environmental development trends. These characteristics make PEEK gears an ideal choice in industrial and high-end manufacturing fields.


           


Another example is wound springs made of 770G material, used as spring energy storage/constant force drive elements in the petroleum industry. They do not rust, are corrosion-resistant, and withstand common corrosive chemicals, solvents and lubricants used in the oil and gas industry. Even if the seal experiences wear, it will not damage the well wall.

         


In addition, 770G is widely used in various industrial seals, multiple systems of new energy vehicles, electronic and electrical connectors, solar thin films, key components of hydrogen energy compressors, etc.

What Are the Differences Between 770G, 550G and 330G?

The biggest difference among the three is flowability: 770G is a standard-flow product, 550G is a medium-flow product, and 330G is a high-flow product. Improved flowability enables raw material particles to be molded through more complex processes, such as thin-wall part injection molding.
